Trekking through the jungle, we came across the national plant of Aotearoa. It is a silver fern. One side is green and the other is this silver colour. A handy tip if stuck in the New Zealand bush... You can write messages which can be seen from a plane or helicopter with silver ferns. The light from the sky reflects very well off the silver side. Don't try it with the green side though...
