You just don't know I have this problem with pecans.
I was told it's a sweet potato pie... just brush off the pecans and munch away!
I am very allergic to pecans, so no sweet potato pie for me. BUT...I made three scrumptious pumpkin pies that were devoured by the family!!Oh...and I made a chocolate pudding pie as well...for JP, who can't stand pumpkin pie. hehehe
