Perhaps I have seen more scariest things than this, similar to this picture. In Pakistan, due to ignorance some people use to hang black clothes of different shapes, black and white threads, balls of threads of different colors and different strange things from a tree in the wild places. They tie up knots with them. For every knot, there is a wish.
But with prevailing literacy, things like these are diminishing very rapidly.
