A good friend of mine has graciously let me use her photos of the Grand Canyon. She is obviously enjoying a better lifestyle than I am at the moment and I hate her for her fortune.... Of course in the most loving of hate.
Thanks C!
So you are asking yourself, where do I go if I feel the call of nature while visiting this big hole in the ground? Well, ask no longer. Here is the answer!
San Nakji for President!

My mother can't believe that anyone would use that toilet, because she think the photo's been doctored.
I promise you that this is a real toilet... No doctoring of any sort went on!
Ah, that's so funny!
But then up in Maine in Baxter State Park on one remote trail, there is a toilet seat in the open air with a pit underneath it for the service of the hikers who pass by there.
heheheh!!
Outhouses are very much real...especially out in remote areas of our National Parks. I can't tell you the number of them that have come in handy for me while out exploring.
*thinks* Hmm, maybe that was too much information.
BTW...great pictures!! The Grand Canyon is a beautiful place. I've been there numerous times.
Ridiculous !
When you are in "le trou du cul du monde" (I beg your pardon, happily nobody can understand me when I speak French), you don't need to have such a building !
Just a stone to hide behind, or just say " oh, turn yourself everybody and don't look at me , please !!!"
i can assure...when u travel under such hot weather...doing the thing is very rare!
