Waited in line for 45 minutes For Harry Potter In the weekend It's going to take me ages to read this book I had better not be disappointed! Stay tuned JK Rowling I know you read my blog!
I bought "the half blood prince" in English. It comes much earlier than in French, because of translating and àlus it is cheeper However, I'll not do that that time, because I need a while to read the book JK Rowling has such a good way to write, it is difficult to read her seriously so that time, I'll wait and maybe have it from the public library...
I must add that I read the previous book because i was so illed. I was in the hospital during a week and then in an armchair during two weeks... It was good for my English, less for my ironing
I dressed up in my Gryffindor uniform, complete with my wand and my time turner, and happily waited for my book.
Some of us decided to wander over to Hogsmeade for a few drinks (actually the Taco Bell across the street). It was great fun hanging out with all the fans. I believe there were close to 4000 at our bookstore waiting. I was given a wristband to collect my book and was number 401. It took about 42 minutes to get my book.
Then I got home (at about 1 am) and read until 3:30 am. Got up, went to work Soup Kitchen, came home and then read non-stop until 2:30 in the morning, at which point I had finished the entire thing.
I laughed, I cried, and I am now depressed. But hey, I started reading the series over again (this will be my 11th time for the other books). I always catch something new when I read. hehehe
it was pottermania in Dubai...3am starting queueing...and there's even a harry potter lookalike..flown in from India...to milk the cow dry for all its worth!
