The Building Inside

In Melbourne, Australia, they had a problem with wanting to build a brand new shopping complex on top of a historic building. Well, for them it wasn't a problem. They built the complex OVER the building... It is quite a sight. I don't know if this has been done elsewhere...

San Nakji for President!

I am now resigned to the stupidity of Melbournians.

Hey, that's wicked cool! It's a nice way to not destroy a historic building, yet still do something else.

It certainly is a creative idea!

I think I've seen this done in the Georgetown section of Washington, D.C. and perhaps elsewhere here in the States. I think it is a neat way to preserve history.
