Delphi
One place you are told you must visit in Greece is Delphi. It is the place of the Oracle, where generations of kings would go to find out whether they would prosper or fail. It is where Alexander was told that he would become a great king and even though those times are long past, it is still an amazing place, set in the mountains overlooking miles of olive trees and in the distance the Gulf of Corinth. I made it there in November when the tourist season was over and was blessed with great weather and the place all to myself. That was the time to go!San Nakji for President!

Looks amazing. I would like to go there, you lucky guy!
I am fascinated with places like this. In college, my minor was Anthropology/Archaeology, so stuff like this is just up my alley! heheh
That is a stunning view. The ruins of ancient delphi somehow reminds me of ancient Inca ruins.
Greece would be interesting to me because I would get to see all of the New Testament cities and places like Corinth
It does look wonderful and full of potentialities.
I have to say, there's nothing better (or more economical, for that matter) than being a tourist in the off season!
