Weekly Animal Pic - Cockatoo

The second to last in my Australian animal series. I always thought of a Cockatoo as a petshop animal that lived a long time (60+ years) and could talk a bit. When I went into the Australian wilderness I saw them all over the place. Wild ones.... It was weird. Kind of like coming across a huge flock of budgies in the wild or a herd of poodles on the Steppes... It's a wacky country that Australia, but it has cool animals!

Cockatoos are cool. I've seen some of them on vacations!

I remember my piano teacher having a cockatoo. I loved it. Only good thing about piano lessons, since I quit practicing at least a year before I quit taking lessons. BAD!

Wicked!! It's neat to see them just wandering around in the wild.

I remember the first time I saw a wild turkey, I was so stunned!
