Lest we forget

With attention turning to Kashmir, we should not forget Guatemala smashed by cyclone Stan. Mudslides have poured down onto villages burying hundreds if not thousands of people. These days it seems everywhere we turn there is another disaster. It is important to remember that all life is important and that we must do everything we can to help all those so badly affected. Please think of these people, it is the least we can do, the very least.

I totally agree. This is just devastating to hear about. They are talking about towns completely in ruins and buried in up to 20 feet of mud. They are asking the buried towns to be considered mass graves. It's is just terrible to hear.

Its not so funny the media focuses on certain things. I had no idea about this cyclone, and I'm a media guy.

A Western Media needs to concentrate on Western things I guess. No one wants to see poor people in far off places dying right?
